My Life in Season

-Nature's Deception-

Though " all summer long",

has a timeless sound.

It's almost gone

'ere you turn around.

Wildberries are picked,

goldenrod's in bloom.

The maple's ablaze,

the sun's low at noon.

I look and I sigh,

alas, I have found.

That "all summer long",
is a deceptive sound.
