The Adventures of Gingerbread Jim - Texas

So Jim has made it safely to Texas after his not so safe visit to Boulder Colorado, but as you can see, he still has some bumps. Nonetheless, Jim had a friend down in Houston. When Jim got off the plane at William P. Hobby Airport, he got on a bus to the car rental place to pick up his car. Well, when he got there, they only had 1 car left. It was a nice Volkswagon Jetta. Wow, Jim thought he was in heaven until he left the parking lot. Once he left the parking lot, he started down the street and turned on the radio only to blow out the speakers. Someone had left the stereo up real high. Then he got pulled over by the police for running a stop sign he had no idea he had run. He got lost, pulled over to ask for directions, only to find that everyone he asked spoke no english. Found a pay phone and put in his only 2 quarters, just so he could call the wrong number. Oh ya, he got a flat tire too! Luckly, his friend had gone out to look for him, worried that something had happened. They hung out later that night, caught a baseball at a Houston Astros game, and then went home a watched some Game Show Network. His visit with his friend did end up better than it started, but Jim is looking forward to a time where nothing bad happens. He didn't happen to say where he was going next week, but only that it was a secret. I guess we will have to wait and see.
