1st Annual Turkeyboxing Day!

Well, Team New Hampshire's 1st Annual Turkeyboxing Day went off with out a hitch. We went out to find 11 boxes and plant 2.
We started at 5:30am and headed to Hooksett, NH to get on our "Hands and Feet" and then hopped on the highway to Concord, NH to find "Don's Happy Hiking" boxes. This is a series of boxes made for Kayakkritter's brother who died recently while hiking Mt Sunapee. It is a short hike through the woods, but it is well worth the trip. The fresh air and the views are spectacular. We finished around 8am and headed home to regroup.
We were heading to my mothers house in Sanford, ME and on the way we decided to collect som boxes in Somersworth, NH. At 10am, we were off to our first box, "The Dog Walk Box" at Willand Pond Recreational Area. Also located there was "The Bear Box HH Hostile". There is where we dropped off a new HH I had carved the other day. From there we headed up the way a bit to Noble Pines Park to find "Play @ the Pines. kinda easy, but finding the road without a map, wasn't. After that we off to find an area that housed "Willow by the River" and "The Birthday Box". All was found successfully. We even found some time to plant a new box special for Turkey Day. After that, we headed to mothers house for some delicious turkey and fixings.
All in all, we a thankful for a great time finding 12 stamps and planting a box and a HH. We are thankful for the food we ate and the life we have to do so. Happy Turkeyboxing Day.
